Varietals

Merlot

Merlot is a dark blue-colored wine grape variety used as both a blending grape and for varietal wines. As a varietal wine, Merlot can make soft, velvety wines with plum flavors.

Petit Verdot

Petit Verdot is a variety of red wine grape, principally used in classic Bordeaux blends. Its aromas transition from banana and pencil shavings to violet and leather as it matures.

Tannat

Tannat is characterized by its firm tannin structure, deep color, high alcohol and its ability to age well. Lots of red fruit, plum, and spice are found in Tannat along with hints of tobacco and smoke.

Petit Manseng

Petit Manseng is one of the key white grape varieties of South West France. It produces a richly sweet wine with stonefruit characters such as peach and apricot, citrus and sweet spice.

Traminette

White wine-producing hybrid produces excellent quality wine with distinct Gewurztraminer characteristics, including a similar aroma. Traminette is used in both dry and sweet wines with honey and apricot flavors.
